LOUIS, MO (February, 2017) – Lou Fusz Athletic is proud to announce the procurement of rights to the Earth City complex, formerly known as Rams Park. The Fusz family saw the potential usage of this world class facility falling in line with their ambition of positively influencing every child athlete in the St. Louis area by the year 2020.

“This is a phenomenal opportunity for my family and me to provide the usage of a world class facility to the kids of St. Louis. We are thankful to take our next steps forward in professionalizing our club and provide every opportunity for our athletes to succeed.” says Pete Fusz, President of Lou Fusz Athletic.

Since 1992, Lou Fusz Soccer Club has coached thousands of area players, producing hundreds of college athletes and professionals. The Club currently fields over 150 competitive teams and over 4,000 players; which includes the Youth Development Academy as well. The rapidly growing Lou Fusz Lacrosse Club will be approaching 15 competitive teams and over 150 athletes in the spring of 2017.

“Our club is committed to keeping up with the competitive aspirations of our athletes, and also continuing to support the St. Louis community as a whole,” said General Manager Dan Gargan. “For us as a youth club, to be able to utilize facilities that NFL athletes honed their craft in, is a huge advantage to what we can provide in development.”

When the St. Louis Rams football team relocated to Los Angeles, the training center to accommodate the football team and its entire NFL operations staff were left vacant.

The Lou Fusz Athletic family wanted to ensure the chance to utilize the space was given to the broader community that had supported the Rams for twenty years. The club anticipates roughly 5,000 child athletes will have the opportunity to practice or play a game at Rams Park.

Occupancy will be held by Lou Fusz Athletic, with opportunities for teams of many different sports to utilize the world class facility.

Paul Fusz of CBRE represented Lou Fusz Athletic in the transaction and Mark Kornfeld of Sansone Group represented the Landlord.
